Venturing Leaders
Venturing has developed training for its adult and youth leaders alike.

1. Adult Advisors should go through the Venturing Fast Start either as a PDF or online to get an overview of their role in this program.
2. Then, they should take Venturing Leader Specific Training, (VSLT), which is next offered at the 2008 Baden Powell University!  There, they'll get all the details about operating a successful crew.
3. Adult Venturing leaders can also participate in the Powder Horn course.

Youth leaders in Venturing should take advantage of the Nature of Leadership courses.

1. The first is Venturing Leadership Skills Course, VLSC.
2. The next leadership course is Kodiak. It we be offered by July 6-12, 2008 at Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation..
3. The last of the series of leadership courses for youth is called Kodiak X ("X" for "Extreme!) and is only offered to those who have attended Kodiak.  Kodiak X will be offered in the September 5-7, 2008 at Camp Brorein.
