The location for Baden Powell University has been moved to Hillsborough High School, near the intersection of I-275 and Hillsborough in Tampa.  The address is 5000 N. Central Avenue, Tampa.

• Streamlined classes, but plenty to support each and every leadership position.
• Lunch is included with your registration.
• Merit Badge Academy, Den Chief Training Conference and Life to Eagle Seminar offered.
• Intro to Wilderness First Aid (a head start on an IMPORTANT training course)

Come help us CELEBRATE B-P's BIRTHDAY at the 2008 Baden-Powell University. This date was selected because of its proximity to Baden-Powell's birthday (on February 22).  Also, because of so many competing activities in the fall, Baden-Powell University moved to the Spring.  Also, it makes some sense to offer it a little later in the program year because during:

August-September:  new leaders are recruited at Join Scouting Night

September-October:  leaders attend Fast Start and Basic Training at the district level

October-December:  leaders attend roundtables, BALOO, and other supplemental training

February 23: leaders experience BADEN-POWELL UNIVERSITY which will offer

• An injection of ideas for new leaders who need help in specific program areas.
• A "morale booster shot" to get you pumped for an exciting spring program.
• Supplemental training for leaders in all Scouting programs AND
• Another opportunity for basic leader training (for leaders recruited later in the fall).
