Troop Committee Challenge

This is the premier training course for members of a troop committee.  During the 3-hour, highly interactive presentation, members of the troop committee will gain a better understanding of their individual roles (chairman, treasurer, outings, membership, etc.) AND how they work together with the other leaders of the troop.  Just like a giant puzzle, when all the pieces fit together, the committee, the Scoutmaster and the youth leaders maximize their efforts and the Scouts end up with a better program.

Troop Committee Challenge is usually offered at the annual Baden-Powell University in late October (check that web site later this summer for more details) and, from time to time, on the district level.  Check your district web page for when the next Troop Committee Challenge is offered, or contact your District Training Chairman to schedule one.
