Boy Scout Leaders

A Boy Scout leader is considered trained when he or she has completed New Leader Essentials and the appropriate course for his/her position from the list below:
- Boy Scout Leader Basic (Scoutmasters/Asst. Scoutmasters)
- Introduction to Outdoor Skills (Scoutmasters/Asst. Scoutmasters)
- Troop Committee Challenge (troop committee members)
All of these courses are offered on a regular basis throughout the year by the districts and by the council training team. Check with your district training chairman or check the Training Grid for courses coming up in the spring of 2006.
