The Outdoor Program The Outdoor Program is one of the central "methods" of Scouting and is like a thread that runs through all of our Scouting programs. Scouts, parents and leaders enjoy the outdoor activities and, when they are age-appropriate, they become the highlight features and favorite memories for our youth.
The links to the left will help you plan for a whole variety of outdoor activities and camping events in the Gulf Ridge Council. If you still have quesitons after reading what's on the website, send an email to our Cub Scout Camping Information Center or our Boy Scout and Venturing Camping Info Box and someone will get back to you soon.
Using Our Camps Scouts from Gulf Ridge Council, as well as other groups are welcome to reserve space at our camp facilities based on availability. If you are interested in using one of our camps for an outing, submit a Camp Use Permit (on the forms page of this website) or send an email to program@boyscouting.com for more information.
