Mini Camp

Are you interested in earning a merit badge and having a GREAT camp experience, but don’t want to wait until next summer? Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation offers regular Minicamp Programs on the first weekends of select months. Minicamp has all the merit badge classes, fun programs, and exciting outdoor activities that you find at a regular summer camp, but in the easy format of a monthly troop outing. Dozens of units in and out of council have taken advantage of the Minicamp Program.

When: October 2-4, 2009
November 6-8, 2009
March 5-7, 2010
April 30 – May 2, 2010

Fees: $60 per Scout. Adults are $15 each. Price includes all meals, insurance and a Mini-Camp patch. A $100 non-refundable reservation deposit is required and will be credited towards your overall fee.

Adult/Venture Training:
October 2-4, 2009: Hazardous Weather & Leave No Trace
November 6-8, 2009: COPE Facilitator
March 5-7, 2010: First Responder and CPR or Wilderness First Aid
April 30 – May 2, 2010: Canoe MB Counselor Training OR Aquatic Supervisor

Additional Info: Check in is on Friday from 5-9 pm. There will be a cracker barrel with pizza on Friday night. Camp site assignments will be made based upon unit size and camp needs. Please bring your own tents! Field uniforms will be worn on Saturday night to evening meal and Sunday morning to Vespers.
