Do You Want to Be a Scout???

If you are interesting in joining the Boy Scouts of America, please read on...

• Cub Scouts is for boys who are in the 1st through 5th grades. Each Fall, Scout units will conduct a special recruiting drive.  We wil hold meetings in virually every elementary school in our service area (see the Council Map) to invite every boy to join Scouting.
  
• Boy Scouts is for boys ages 11-17. We can help find a troop in your area.
  
• Venturing is for both boys & girls ages 14-20. These groups, called Venture Crews, generally are involved in high-adventure activites. Sea Scouts are also part of Venturing.
  
• Exploring is also co-ed, ages 14-20. This program will help its members learn about prospective career fields. Please check our Exploring page to find out which vocations currently sponsor Posts.
  
• Adult Volunteers are always needed! The Chartered Organization must approve new leaders, and we also perform criminal background checks.
