Scouts Earn Their Way--AND Badges, too! Scouts who participate in the annual Boy Scout Popcorn Sale not only prove that they have what it takes to earn their own way and pay for their own Scouting program, but can earn badges, too. By selling popcorn, Scouts can complete a number of requirements for rank badges, Webelos Activity pins, Boy Scout merit badges and more. We've had over 175 Filled Up Take Order forms submitted already and the AVERAGE filled up form is worth over $510.00 in sales (nearly 8% higher than our filled up average in 2007)! It was such a success last year, we're doing the "Fill It Up" Take-Order form drawing again in 2008, but this will be BIGGER and even MORE EXCITING. In the end, several Scouts will win some exciting prizes, but the big winners will be their units who will benefit from their dedication and enthusiasm as they take popcorn orders in their neighborhoods, at school, at church and wherever they find potential customers. We will have drawings at noon every Friday beginning on October 3. Scouts who fill up a Take Order form (Show and Sell doesn't count!) and deliver or fax it to the Council Service Center (875-5890) will have a chance to win that week's prize. And, check out these prizes!!!
The Grand Prize drawing will be on November 7 when ALL forms that have been received will be back in the drawing for a Toshiba 42" LCD Full High Definition Television! Click here for the "Wii A Week Drawing Flyer" for all the details!
