Golf Tournaments

The Guilf Ridge Council conducts a number of fundraising events throghout the year including a benefit auction, a sporting clay shoot, recognition dinners and golf tournaments.  These events serve two purposes.  For one, they help generate much needed income for the council from participants or players that would not, otherwise, have much connection with Scouting.  They also give us the opportunity to share the Scouting story with those who play in the tournaments or attend the dinners, auction, etc. and let them know about the great things that are going on in our program.

2008 Council Golf Classic

The Council Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, April 14 at Feather Sound Golf Club.  More details and registration information will be posted here as we get closer to tee time!   Click here to print a tri-fold Informational Flyer about the upcoming tournament and a reservation form to complete and return to Gulf Ridge Council.

Clayton Lyons Tournament in Lakeland

The 2008 Clayton Lyons Tournament will be held at Lone Palm Country Club in Lakeland on Friday, May 9.  This has been a well-received, highly successful tournament for years with record attendance in recent years.  The tournament staff expects even better results in 2008!

Many thanks go to Don and Tim Bosko and the enitre Beef 'O' Brady's family for their support of this tournament and their support of Scouting.
