Important Reminders

Merit Badge Counselors
There has been some discrepancy among the troops regarding BSA registration of Merit Badge Counselors. Please note: BSA policy is that ALL Merit Badge Counselors MUST be registered as such. This is done by completing an Adult Leader Application (Merit Badge Counselor is position code "42"), as well as a Merit Badge Application. Both of these forms are available at the Council Service Center and on the forms page of this website. The statement of this policy can be viewed at the following web site: http://www.scouting.org/factsheets/02-500.html. If you have Merit Badge Counselors that are NOT registered, please do so ASAP! Thank you.

Unit Money Earning
Every unit doing an event to earn funds must turn in a unit money earning form to the council office. This form can be found online or ask Stephanie Smith for one prior to the event.

Tour Permits
All units must turn in a tour permit two weeks in advance to the council office in order to approve your event. If you do not, your event is not registered with the council office!! You can get these permits online.
