Life to Eagle

While it's only one more step along the Eagle Trail, the step from Life to Eagle can seem like the biggest of all. Just ask anyone who is a "Life for life" about why he wasn't able to complete his Eagle badge and you'll find a whole litany of reasons. But, for those Scouts who successfully complete this final step, the pride in the eyes of his parents and Scout leaders, the admiration of his fellow Scouts and his personal knowledge of a job well done are true and just rewards for his efforts.

"Mini Grants" Available for Hillsborough Co. Eagle Scout Service Projects

The Mayor's Beautification Project is offering "mini-grants" of up to $250.00 to support qualified Eagle Scout service projects within Hillsborough County.  Click on the following link to the Mayor's Beautification Project, then click on "Learning to Grow--Growing to Learn" for more information and for an application form.  Note that these mini grants are awarded throughout the year but there are deadlines that must be met several months in advance of the project.
